It is a very human trait to be affected by what people think of us. Recently, I learned that in most cases, what impacts us is actually the projection of what we think that they think about us. To put it simply,
It’s in our Heads!
We often chase ideals that were given to us from the outside world. And then we fall short of these unattainable standards. Furthermore, we add to our suffering by considering ourselves as failures in the face of expectations we never signed up for.
This edition is about taking a step back and setting ideals of our own.

A Delayed Father's Day Tribute 😬
I’m a bit late to the father’s day party but I was too sad to write about dad on Sunday. This week’s post is a short story about how my dad went from abject poverty to realizing his childhood dreams.
Painting of The Week
On The theme of setting our own ideals. The painting is called The Eye of The Beholder. I’m sure you have heard the saying, Beauty Lies in the Eye of the Beholder.
Most things in life are subjective. Including success. If you think you are a failure, just change the beholder. I’m sure you haven’t seen yourself from a fresh perspective recently.
Name: The Eye of The Beholder
Medium: Mixed Media on Canvas
Size: 16" x 20"
This was the before picture. I honestly have no idea where most paintings are going. Most of the fun is in not knowing. I thought I was painting a face. The painting was a failure. I just changed the perspective.
