Hope you are having a great week! And if not this week’s edition might be the tune-up you were looking for.
In this week’s newsletter, we explore the less understood human emotion of shame, provide ways to make it easier to get out of bed each morning, and explore a painting that is mostly garbage (literally). Let’s jump in.

Painting of the Week (SOLD!)
A while ago I came across a YouTube video that was effectively saying, “All Art Is Garbage” so it got me thinking if All Garbage Can Be Art.
This was the motivation for the painting this week. The textures in this piece come from garbage that would essentially end up in a landfill. I used scrap cardboard and paper, single-use vegetable mesh bags used masks (disinfected), aluminium foil, etc.
I couldn’t resist adding some gold leaf for that extra effect.
Name: Fragmented Realities
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Size: 30" x 40"
